if you seek peace,
if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe,
if you seek liberalization:

は、いつまでも心に残っています。

また、スピーチの最後に近い部分での、壁にスプレーでペイントされた青年のメッセージを引用する部分：

は、まさにそのあとすぐに起こる歴史の大きな変換点”壁の崩壊”の到来を予見していました。２０年以上前のスピーチですが、いま聞き直す価値ありです。
